Priority Welcome Messages Sequences

· 5 min read
BuddyX

Make your welcome messages personal (use names) and even set upto 2 follow ups if they don't respond.

What is the difference between OF's welcome message and BuddyX's welcome messages?

  • When you set up a welcome message on OnlyFans, you can only set up one message which is sent straight to your fans when they hit that subscribe button. Also, it goes into in their Unread message tab. (As a mass message, not priority)
  • With BuddyX's Welcome Message feature, you can set upto 3 messages, so they are in a conversational style, instead of one message crafted for all. Plus, you can even add a delay of up to 15 minutes between the messages, which gives you the opportunity to bump them until you get a reply from your fans. So when a fan subscribes to you page, they get a Priority message sliding into their DMs after X minutes (the delay you have set up) and follow ups if you have set them up.

How to use this feature?

  • You can set up to 3 messages and set the delay between them to 0 mins, if you just want to divide your messages into many messages to make it feel more conversational.
  • However, you can this feature to increase engagement with your fans by setting up 1 welcome message and then add follow-up messages, with a 3–4 min delay (max 15 minutes), and check the box, "don't send if the fan sent a message in the last 1h". With this approach, if the user has not responded, the tool will send up to three messages; but, if the user responds after the second message, the third message will not be sent!
info

Please note: The welcome messages are only sent when you are logged into the page with the extension active. Welcome Messages are not sent if your browser is not active with the OF page and extension ON.

Please make sure you have the Site Notifications Setting -> New Subscriber turned ON for this feature to work.

How can you set up the welcome message?

  1. Click on the 3 dots on the extension (top right corner) and then click on 'Messaging'.

  2. The first option is Priority Welcome Message. Make sure you have sync on, which means you have the email inputted into the extension.

  3. When you click on the Set up Welcome Message button, a modal opens where you can set up the welcome messages (upto 3).You can create a new message or you can choose from your predefined templates. You can insert fan names if you wish to by clicking on Insert Name button and use markers in the messages.

  4. Once you have set the message up, you will see a preview of the messages and a edit and delete button nedxt to it. To finish set up, there are a few settings to choose:

  • Send welcome messages after (required): This is the amount of mins the tool waits before sending the message. You can set a custom delay for each message. In the example above, Message 1 will be sent 1 min after the fan subscribes. Message 2 will be sent 1 min after the message 1 was delivered and message 3 will be sent 1 min after message 2 was delivered. Note: it is always relative to the last message.
  • Don't send if the fan sent a message in the last 1h: You can check this box if you don't want to send the messages after the fan has already responded. In this case, the tool will first check to see if the fan has sent a message, and if so, it will not send a message, leaving you to determine what to reply depending on the fan's message.
  • Don't send if I already sent a message in the last 1h: If you wish to send your own welcome messages while you're online, you can enable this option. In that instance, the tool will first check to see if you have already sent a message, and if not, it will send the preset welcome message. Please note: If you tick this option AND have the OnlyFans Welcome Message configured as well, the Priority Welcome Messages will not be sent to the fan.
  • Don't send welcome messages to creator accounts: If you check this box, the tool will not send the message when creator accounts subscribe to your page.

And the last one is Feature Status: You can turn the feature On and Off using this toggle.

Once you click on Save Changes, the feature is turned ON and welcome messages will be sent to your fans (when your page is active with BuddyX)
