Fans whose subscription is about to end are easy to lose. A personal message, or a discount on their next month, right before they expire can be what keeps them subscribed.

With Message Expiring Fans, BuddyX finds every fan whose subscription ends within the next few days and sends them your message, so you can reach them before they leave.

This feature is only available for paid pages.

How to Message Expiring Fans

• On the BuddyX home tab, click Message Expiring / Renewed Fans under Quick Tools and choose expiring fans. You can also open the BuddyX menu, go to Messaging and click Message Expiring Fans.
• Click Create New Message.
• Under Expiry Window, choose how far ahead to look: fans expiring in the next 1 to 7 days.
• Under Message, pick one of your message templates or click New Message to write one. You can add media and set a price if you want.
• Click Start Messaging.

Before you start, the Summary at the bottom shows exactly who will be messaged and with which settings.

Optional Settings

• Exclude Lists: fans in any of the lists you select won’t receive the message. You can also pick a List Preset to exclude several lists at once.
• Add Messaged Fans to a List: add every fan who received the message to a list, so you can follow up with them later. Click New list to create one on the spot.
• Discount: turn on Offer a subscription discount to give each fan a discount of 5% to 35% on their renewal, for 1 to 12 months.

Message History

Click Message History to see the messages you’ve sent to expiring fans and unsend them if needed.
