Add Restricted Words for Chats.

· 2 min read
BuddyX

With this feature, you can set up words / phrases that your team is not allowed to send in chats on OF. This will help prevent messages containing these words from being sent, thereby minimizing the risk of OnlyFans violations.

How to set up the feature?

You simply have to go to the Dashboard -> Click on Page Settings -> Activate the feature toggle -> Add custom restricted words (if you wish to) -> Click Save button. DONE!

Please note:
  • Add each word / phrase in a new line (without ',' comma separation).
  • The words / phrases are case-insensitive. You don't need to add the same word in lower and upper case. If the word 'hey' is blocked, 'Hey' 'HEY' 'heY' will also be blocked.
  • Don't forget to click the 'SAVE' button after editing the list.
  • Don't forget to turn the toggle ON for the feature to work.
  • After you edit the 'Custom Restricted Words' list, please ask your chatters to refresh the OF page once. New additions will only take affect after the refresh.
  • Please make sure all your chatters have the latest version of the extension: v2.38.1 (or higher)

Once that is set, the tool will show an error modal (see screenshot) whenever someone from the team will try to send a message with one or more of the restricted words in it. They will see a list of the restricted word/s and once they change the text, they will be able to successfully send the message.

Which text inputs will the feature work on?

  • Messages sent in the chat.
  • All Message Components on the BuddyX Extension - Priority Message, Online Message, Welcome Message, PPV Scheduler, Message Templates creation and Fast Sending features.

Restricted Words Log

We have added a Restricted Words Log table on Dashboard that tracks restricted words used in chats, giving you better oversight of your team’s interactions.
